We are seeking a highly skilled Private Equity Fund Accountant to join our team at Apex Group. As a key member of our finance organization, you will be responsible for providing exceptional technical accounting and reporting capabilities to our clients.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare fund and investor accounting, including financial statements, footnotes, and supporting schedules.
- Review and prepare capital call and distribution calculations, sources and uses of cash, allocations, and investor notices.
- Coordinate and support the audit process for both SSAE 16 and fund audits.
- Support the tax team with information to prepare tax compliance and reports.
- Assist with other regulatory reporting and investor queries.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
- 8-11 years of professional experience, with a mix of private and audit experience preferred.
- Minimum 3-6 years of direct Private Equity experience, with a focus on fund accounting.
- CPA preferred.
- Strong knowledge of fund and partner accounting, credit funds, and portfolio accounting.
- Supervisory experience and strong written and verbal communication skills.
