Job Summary

The Food Service Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service department, ensuring that all food and service meet quality control standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and implement efficient work schedules to meet business needs
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that all food safety and sanitation procedures are followed
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, as well as provide ongoing coaching and feedback
  • Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation, ensuring that all necessary items are ordered and stocked
  • Prepare and submit reports on food sales, inventory, and labor costs
  • Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner
  • Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage
  • Prepare and submit reports on food order summaries for the chef
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a food service environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures
