Job Description
Canada Post is seeking a Post Office Assistant to provide exceptional customer service to the business community and public. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for selling postal products and services, sorting and distributing mail, and addressing delivery and service difficulties.
Key Responsibilities
- Sell postal products and services to customers
- Sort and distribute mail into appropriate classifications
- Provide customers with information and forms
- Address delivery and service difficulties
Qualifications
- High school or provincial equivalency and/or experience in business administration
- Training and/or experience interacting with the public in a retail and/or service environment
- Understanding of general or post office accounting systems
- Physical fitness to lift mail containers and stand for extended periods
Additional Requirements
- Flexibility to be available for temporary, on-call work
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
