Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Hardware Delivery Clerk to join our team at Federated Co-operatives Limited. As a key member of our hardware department, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, managing inventory, and ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse and delivery processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Manage inventory levels, receiving and stocking merchandise as directed by the Hardware Manager.
  • Assist with appliance deliveries, drafting quotes, and lumber sales, ensuring accurate and efficient processing of customer transactions.
  • Operate the point-of-sale terminal, accurately processing sales and preparing daily cash reconciliations as required.
  • Perform general housekeeping duties, maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and management to achieve departmental goals and objectives.
Requirements
  • Experience working in a warehouse or retail environment, with a strong understanding of building material products.
  • Valid Saskatchewan driver's license, with a clean driving record.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers and colleagues.
  • Physical ability to lift and carry heavy loads (80lbs+), with a strong work ethic and attention to detail.
  • Basic computer skills, with the ability to learn and adapt to new technology.
