We're seeking a talented Senior Environmental Project Engineer to join our North American team in a Project Engineering Design and Construction role, specializing in contaminated sites.

About the Role:

  • Provide senior leadership and mentorship in the completion of environmental remediation projects.
  • Work within multi-disciplinary project teams, offering environmental advice to other GHD teams.
  • Manage design projects, including project teams, budgets, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Develop and review technical environmental reports, drawings, and specifications.
  • Opportunity to work on local, national, and global projects, with occasional travel to support other GHD office locations.
  • Mentor junior team members in a collaborative and learning atmosphere.

Requirements:

  • Civil or environmental engineering degree.
  • Designation considered an asset.
  • Experience in developing and implementing strategies for complex remediation and/or risk management.
  • Technical delivery experience in investigations, designs, and construction support for environmental remediation projects in Canada and the US.
  • Experience working on Canadian and/or US Federal projects is considered an asset.
  • Strong understanding of Canadian (including Ontario) environmental legislation.
  • Understanding of US environmental legislation considered an asset.
  • Excellent communication and report writing skills.
