We are seeking a highly skilled Automation Engineer to join our team at Paladin Security. As an Automation Engineer, you will play a critical role in driving business process automation and enhancing efficiency across our organization.
Key Responsibilities- Process Documentation and Automation: Collaborate with internal stakeholders to document current processes and devise methods for efficient automation.
- Inefficiency Identification and Resolution: Proactively identify sources of inefficiency and develop strategies to address them through automation.
- Documentation and Communication: Create and deliver effective documentation, including process maps, and technical specifications to be shared with the wider IT team and used as the basis for user guides as necessary.
- Testing and Debugging: Conduct testing and debugging of RPA solutions to ensure they meet business requirements and function correctly.
- Feedback Mechanisms: Create feedback mechanisms to monitor the status and efficacy of all created automations.
- Key Performance Indicators (KPIs): Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of RPA initiatives and gather feedback from team members to make continuous improvements.
- Change Management: Maintain detailed records of change management activities, including progress reports and lessons learned.
- Additional Responsibilities: Perform other responsibilities as required to meet organizational requirements.
- Programming Skills: Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, Java, or C#.
- Data Structures and Database Management: Familiarity with common data structures, database management, and SQL.
- DevOps and Agile Development: Experience with DevOps processes to manage code release cycles and an understanding of agile development (scrum) methodology.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field is preferred.
- Business Process Management: Good understanding of business process management, development, and improvement activities.
- RPA Certification: Certification in UiPath, Blue Prism, Automation Anywhere, or similar RPA tools is preferred.
- Cloud and AI Experience: Experience working with Azure and the Microsoft Power Platform is a plus.
- Machine Learning and AI: Experience with machine learning and artificial intelligence technologies.
This is a permanent, full-time, hybrid (on-site at least 3 days per week) position with a salary range of $80,000 to $100,000 annually.
