Job Title: Security Architecture Manager

Vancity is a credit union committed to a clean and fair world. Our mission is to provide world-class cybersecurity protection to our members and employees. We are seeking a highly skilled Security Architecture Manager to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop, implement, and maintain our security architecture framework.
  • Collaborate with various departments to ensure the security of our financial systems, applications, and data.
  • Lead a team of security professionals and drive security initiatives.
  • Provide strategic direction to fortify our cybersecurity posture.
  • Partner with the Vancity lines of business to apply good security practices and ensure security is integrated into solution designs.
  • Ensure that security architecture practices comply with relevant financial regulations, standards, and frameworks.
Requirements:
  • An undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a highly related field.
  • Proven experience (7+ years) in security architecture, cybersecurity, or related roles, with a focus on financial institutions or similar regulated environments.
  • Information Security Certifications in one or more of the following: CISSP, CISA, GISP, GSNA, GSE, CSP, SSCP, Security+.
  • Strong knowledge of security frameworks, standards, and regulations pertinent to the financial industry.
