Maintenance Technician

The Manitoba Government is seeking a skilled Maintenance Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our housing division, you will be responsible for performing maintenance tasks, ensuring our properties meet the highest standards of safety and quality.
Key Responsibilities- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including repairs and inspections, to ensure our properties remain safe and habitable.
- Prepare and submit documentation related to maintenance activities, including work orders and inspection reports.
- Collaborate with tenants and other stakeholders to resolve maintenance-related issues.
- Act as Operations Manager as required, overseeing the day-to-day operations of our housing division.
- Must be legally entitled to work in Canada.
- Must possess a valid Manitoba Class 5 Driver's Licence.
- Must be physically capable of traveling to remote areas.
- Experience in maintenance and repair, including carpentry, plumbing, and mechanical equipment repair.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook.
