Key Responsibilities- Provide Comprehensive Nursing Care: Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care to meet the unique needs of each resident.
- Lead Interdisciplinary Teams: Collaborate with healthcare professionals, including physicians, therapists, and social workers, to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Ensure Resident Safety and Well-being: Identify and mitigate risks, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for residents.
- Communicate Effectively: Maintain open and transparent communication with residents, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Stay Up-to-Date with Industry Developments: Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices, regulations, and industry advancements.
- Education and Certification: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) or equivalent, current registration as a Registered Nurse with the College of Nurses, and Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification.
- Skills and Experience: Strong written and verbal communication skills, basic computer proficiency, and experience working in a long-term care setting.
- Personal Qualities: Compassionate, empathetic, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
