We are a Montreal-based startup leveraging cutting-edge research from top US universities to develop proprietary technology that optimizes and accelerates hardware through software only. Our innovative approach delivers instant results by running our core software, offering users a performance boost in LLM inference and training, as well as a performance increase in graphics for gaming and AR applications, combined with a power consumption reduction across the CPU, GPU, and NPU for complex computational tasks.

Role Overview

We are seeking a seasoned tech-savvy executive to lead the next steps of our growth. As the Chief Executive Officer, you will be responsible for the overall operations of the business, revenue generation, coordination and development of the executive team, investor relationships and fundraising, and scaling a high-caliber organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the company strategy to ensure alignment with short-term and long-term objectives;
  • Oversee all operations and business activities to ensure they produce the desired results and are consistent with the overall strategy and mission;
  • Manage revenue, expenses, and external financing to maintain consistent growth of the business;
  • Lead, motivate, and manage the executive team;
  • Interface with the board and/or investors, communicating effectively with all stakeholders;
  • Maintain a positive and ethical work climate, conducive to attracting, retaining, and motivating a diverse group of top-quality employees at all levels;
  • Establish and maintain the corporate culture.

Requirements

  • Prior CEO experience in VC-backed organizations with a deep understanding of a startup lifecycle;
  • Track record of working in the software and gaming or semiconductor industries;
  • Sales-driven candidates with proved accomplishments in scaling organizations from zero to tens of millions in revenue;
  • Experience in transforming companies from technology to product;
  • In-depth knowledge of corporate governance, finance, and performance management principles and familiarity with various business functions such as marketing, sales, finance, HR, etc.
