About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Registered Dental Assistant to join our team at Strasdin Orthodontics in Grande Prairie, AB. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our team members in achieving our goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with our Treatment Coordinator(s) to successfully integrate new patients into the practice.
  • Greet patients, tour them through the office, take panoramic x-rays and patient photographs.
  • Upload orthodontic records.
  • Introduce the patient to the Treatment Coordinator.
  • Take ownership of the records room.
  • Responsible for restocking and ensuring the proper maintenance of all equipment.
  • Ability to perform other duties as required for the efficient operation of the practice.

Requirements
  • Completion of a Registered Dental Assisting Level II.
  • Registered or in process of registering with the Alberta Dental Assistants.
  • New graduates welcome.
  • RDA with Ortho module considered an asset.
  • Experience with dental practice management software such as Orthotrack and myitero.com is considered an asset.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with patients and families.
  • Customer service mindset.
