We are seeking a highly skilled Security Engineer to join our team at BCI. As a key member of our Cyber Security Team, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing security solutions to protect our organization's assets.
Key Responsibilities- Contribute to the development of security requirements and design security solutions to mitigate risks.
- Collaborate with business partners to ensure the effective and efficient delivery of secure products.
- Work closely with the Cyber Security Team to identify and address security threats.
- Develop and maintain security policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Provide expert security advice and guidance to stakeholders.
- Participate in incident response and security investigations.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging security threats and technologies.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in information security, with a focus on security processes, products, and projects.
- Expert knowledge in engineering secure systems.
- Experience with securing cloud environments.
- Excellent documentation, customer service, listening, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to implement programs and integrate security technologies and solutions to measure and sustain the security posture of large, complex environments.
- Experience with Agile methods and DevOps practices.
- Professional certifications such as GIAC, CISSP, OSCP, or CISM.
BCI offers a competitive total rewards package, including a performance-based incentive plan, comprehensive health and dental benefits, a defined benefit pension plan, and paid time off.
The annualized base salary range for this role is CAD $120,000 to $140,000.
