About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Professional to join our team at Home Instead. As a Care Professional, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to adults and seniors in their own homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide companionship and conversation to clients, helping to alleviate feelings of loneliness and isolation
  • Assist with light housekeeping tasks, meal preparation, and medication reminders to promote independence and well-being
  • Support clients with grooming and bathing, as well as assistance with toileting and incontinence issues
  • Deliver Alzheimer's care and support to clients with dementia
Requirements
  • Ability to treat clients and their property with dignity and respect
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and their families
  • Complete a criminal background check, provide professional and personal references, and possess a valid driver's license and reliable vehicle
  • Vulnerable sector check and 2-step TB skin test required
  • Driver's abstract is required
  • Possess a computer or smartphone
What We Offer

As a Care Professional with Home Instead, you will enjoy a competitive hourly wage, ranging from $18.50 to $19.50, as well as benefits in the form of a Health Care Spending Account. We also offer skills training and support to help you succeed in your role.

We use artificial intelligence in our chatbot 'Olivia' to screen and sort potential candidates. Each Home Instead franchise is independently owned and operated.
