About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Professional to join our team at Home Instead. As a Care Professional, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to adults and seniors in their own homes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide companionship and conversation to clients
  • Assist with light housekeeping tasks and meal preparation
  • Remind clients of medication and appointments
  • Assist with grooming and bathing
  • Support clients with toileting and incontinence issues
  • Provide care and support for individuals with Alzheimer's disease

Requirements:

  • Ability to treat clients and their property with dignity and respect
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to complete a criminal background check and provide professional and personal references
  • Possession of a valid driver's license and reliable vehicle
  • Completion of a vulnerable sector check and 2-step TB skin test
  • Possession of a computer or smartphone
