Salary

The salary range for this position is $120,000 - $140,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement public policy initiatives that advance the CRRF's mission and goals
  • Liaise with government officials, community organizations, and stakeholders to build support for policy initiatives
  • Analyze data and research to inform policy decisions and recommendations
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop strategic plans and projects
  • Represent the CRRF at conferences, events, and meetings as required
Qualifications
  • A post-secondary degree or equivalent experience in public policy, political science, law, or a related field
  • Extensive experience (5+ years) in public policy development, stakeholder relationships, and legislative engagement
  • Strong knowledge of anti-racist principles, racial justice, and social equity issues
  • Proven track record of successfully influencing policy change at various levels of government
  • Excellent analytical, research, and strategic thinking skills
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities, including public speaking and media engagement
