SalaryThe salary range for this position is $120,000 - $140,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
Responsibilities- Develop and implement public policy initiatives that advance the CRRF's mission and goals
- Liaise with government officials, community organizations, and stakeholders to build support for policy initiatives
- Analyze data and research to inform policy decisions and recommendations
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop strategic plans and projects
- Represent the CRRF at conferences, events, and meetings as required
- A post-secondary degree or equivalent experience in public policy, political science, law, or a related field
- Extensive experience (5+ years) in public policy development, stakeholder relationships, and legislative engagement
- Strong knowledge of anti-racist principles, racial justice, and social equity issues
- Proven track record of successfully influencing policy change at various levels of government
- Excellent analytical, research, and strategic thinking skills
- Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities, including public speaking and media engagement
We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including three weeks of vacation, two Personal Floating Days, sick days, and 4% of annual income towards RRSP plan. We also provide life, disability, medical, and dental care insurance.
