Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Food Service Attendant to join our team at The Good Samaritan Society. As a key member of our dining services team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and customer service in our food service areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clean and sanitize food service equipment, dishes, and utensils to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Prepare and serve food and beverages to our residents and guests, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Restock food and supplies, and maintain a clean and organized storage area.
  • Assist with food preparation, including washing, peeling, and cutting vegetables and fruits.
  • Participate in maintaining a clean and safe work environment, including sweeping, mopping, and polishing floors.
Requirements
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Will train on the job.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle heavy loads.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work as part of a team.
  • Reliability and punctuality are essential.
Work Environment

This is a temporary, 32-hour per week position with a fast-paced environment and repetitive tasks. You will be required to stand for extended periods and handle heavy loads.
