Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef to join our team at THAI MANAO. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of our culinary team and ensuring that our guests receive exceptional dining experiences.

About the Role

This is a permanent position with a competitive salary range of $60,000 - $80,000 per annum, depending on experience. You will work 30-40 hours per week in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Chef Management: Supervise and train kitchen staff, including cooks, assistants, and helpers, to ensure seamless meal preparation and service.
  • Culinary Operations: Plan and execute menus, manage inventory, order supplies, and maintain high standards of food safety and quality.
  • Dining Experiences: Collaborate with our chef de cuisine to create innovative and authentic Thai dishes that delight our guests.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Culinary Expertise: Proven experience in cooking Thai cuisine, with knowledge of Cantonese, Szechuan, Canadian, Japanese, and international flavors.
  • Certification: Cook Trade Certification or equivalent.
  • Languages: Fluent English language skills, with ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and guests.

  • Fast-Paced Environment: Work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment with multiple tasks and deadlines.
