Cleaning Supervisor Job Description

R2 Bee C Ltd is seeking a skilled Cleaning Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our cleaning services team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our cleaning staff and ensuring that our facilities are maintained to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Hire, train, and supervise cleaning staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Inspect sites and facilities to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions to maintain safety and cleanliness standards.
  • Prepare and manage budgets and cost estimates for cleaning services.
  • Recommend and arrange for additional services such as painting, repair work, and equipment replacement as needed.
  • Maintain accurate financial records and receive payment for specialized cleaning jobs.
  • Assist cleaning staff in performing duties and coordinate work activities with other departments.
  • Establish work schedules and ensure that cleaning staff are aware of their responsibilities and deadlines.
Requirements:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a cleaning or facilities management role.
  • Permanent employment with a 35-hour workweek.
  • English language proficiency.
Work Environment:

This is a fast-paced environment that requires the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. The role involves a combination of sitting, standing, walking, and standing for extended periods. You will also be required to handle heavy loads and perform tasks that involve bending, crouching, and kneeling.
