About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Diagnostic Sonographer to join our team in the general ultrasound department, ECHO lab, and Maternal Fetal Medicine clinic. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging team, you will conduct standardized and complex ultrasound services essential for diagnosing and monitoring diseases and pathologies.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare patients for examinations and review medical histories
  • Interpret procedures and capture high-quality diagnostic ultrasound images
  • Take initial steps to address abnormal findings
  • Assist in diagnosis, clinical interventions, and patient management

Requirements:

  • Completion of extended diploma from an accredited ultrasound program or certification in Diagnostic Sonography from an accredited program
  • Active registration with Sonography Canada and/or Alberta College of Medical Diagnostic & Therapeutic Technologists (ACMDTT) and/or American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS)
  • Current Basic Cardiac Life Support Healthcare Provider (BCLS-HCP) certification

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Registered with Canadian Society of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (CSDMS), American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS), and/or Canadian Association of Registered Diagnostic Ultrasound Professionals (CARDUP)
  • Excellent time management, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and effectively with others in clinical and educational settings
