Job Summary:

The Healthcare Support Worker will provide high-quality care and support to patients in a variety of settings, including hospitals, long-term care facilities, and private homes.

Responsibilities:
  • Personal Care: Assist patients with bathing, dressing, and grooming, as well as toileting and incontinence care.
  • Meal Preparation and Feeding: Prepare and serve meals to patients, as well as assist with feeding and hydration.
  • Mobility and Transfers: Assist patients with mobility and transfers, including walking, standing, and using wheelchairs or stretchers.
  • Housekeeping and Laundry: Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients, including cleaning and laundry.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure high-quality care and support.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Will train.
