Job Title: Flatbed Truck Driver

At STEEL HUB TRANSPORT, we are seeking a reliable and skilled Flatbed Truck Driver to join our team. As a Flatbed Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Load and unload goods from trucks, ensuring accurate and secure transportation.
  • Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials, adhering to traffic laws and regulations.
  • Conduct regular vehicle inspections to ensure optimal performance and safety.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks to prevent mechanical issues and ensure vehicle reliability.
  • Communicate effectively with central dispatch and other stakeholders to coordinate transportation logistics.
  • Record and maintain accurate records of cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
  • Ensure the safety and security of cargo during transportation, adhering to company policies and regulations.
Requirements:
  • AZ class license
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Physical stamina to handle heavy loads and repetitive tasks
  • Flexibility to work varied schedules, including overtime
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in the transportation industry
  • Knowledge of transportation regulations and laws
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
