Job Title: Clothing Plant Labourer - Manufacturing Operations

Job Summary: We are seeking a reliable and physically demanding Clothing Plant Labourer to join our manufacturing operations team at Broadway Contract Embroidery. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for transporting items throughout the plant using powered equipment, checking and weighing materials and products, and performing other labouring and elemental activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Transport items throughout the plant using powered equipment
  • Transport raw materials, finished products and equipment throughout the plant manually
  • Check and weigh materials and products
  • Sort, pack, crate and package materials and products
  • Assist machine operators, assemblers and other workers
  • Clean machines and immediate work areas

Requirements:

  • Ability to work independently
  • Fast-paced environment
  • Repetitive tasks
  • Physically demanding
  • Attention to detail
  • Hand-eye co-ordination
  • Standing for extended periods
