Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Digital Signal Processing (DSP) engineer to join our multidisciplinary team of engineers, scientists, and clinicians.

As a DSP engineer, you will be responsible for developing innovative and robust DSP algorithms to analyze physiological waveform data and assess vital signs such as blood pressure and oxygen saturation.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Algorithm Development: Design, develop, and implement DSP algorithms to analyze physiological data and extract meaningful insights.
  2. Code Optimization: Write efficient DSP code using programming languages like MATLAB and C, and optimize it for speed, performance, and robustness.
  3. Algorithm Review and Improvement: Review and improve existing DSP algorithms and code to ensure they meet the highest standards of quality and accuracy.
  4. Documentation and Maintenance: Maintain and document all DSP code, ensuring that it is well-organized, readable, and easily maintainable.
  5. Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and test DSP algorithms, and communicate technical findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
Requirements
  1. Education and Experience: A degree in electrical engineering, computer science, or equivalent education and/or experience, with a proven track record of working as a DSP engineer.
  2. Technical Skills: Proficient in MATLAB, C, and/or related signal processing programming languages, with a strong understanding of time and frequency domain analyses, digital filtering, and statistical analysis.
  3. Additional Skills: Experience with modeling and running simulations using MATLAB, and a basic understanding of artificial intelligence and machine learning techniques pertinent to data and signal analysis.
