Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and physically fit Heavy Duty Cleaner to join our team at Task-co Building Maintenance Inc. As a Heavy Duty Cleaner, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our facilities, including sweeping, mopping, and cleaning floors, as well as emptying trash cans and other waste containers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sweep, mop, and clean floors, including hallways, stairs, and other high-traffic areas
  • Empty trash cans and other waste containers
  • Operate industrial vacuum cleaners to remove scraps, dirt, and debris
  • Wash windows, interior walls, and ceilings
  • Move heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as painting and drywall repair
  • Clean and disinfect bathrooms and fixtures
Requirements
  • Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Flexibility and ability to work independently
  • Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
