Job Title: Heavy Duty Cleaner

We are seeking a reliable and physically fit Heavy Duty Cleaner to join our team at Task-co Building Maintenance Inc.

Job Summary:

The Heavy Duty Cleaner will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment in our office building and various locations. This includes sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and waxing hallways, floors, and stairs, as well as operating industrial vacuum cleaners to remove scraps, dirt, and heavy debris.

Responsibilities:
  • Sweep, mop, scrub, and wax hallways, floors, and stairs
  • Operate industrial vacuum cleaners to remove scraps, dirt, and heavy debris
  • Empty trash cans and other waste containers
  • Wash windows, interior walls, and ceilings
  • Move heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies
  • Perform other routine maintenance jobs such as painting and drywall repair
  • Clean and disinfect bathrooms and fixtures
Requirements:
  • Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle repetitive tasks
  • Physically fit and able to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Dependability, flexibility, and initiative
