Director, Global Tax Compliance

Cirque du Soleil Entertainment Group is seeking a seasoned tax professional to lead our global tax compliance efforts. As Director, Global Tax Compliance, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our worldwide tax compliance obligations, transfer pricing documentation, and tax provision.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Proactively inform senior management of changes in tax law and regulations, and provide strategic recommendations to optimize our tax position.
  • Develop and implement tax strategies aligned with our economic model, in collaboration with senior management and other stakeholders.
  • Review and ensure compliance with transfer pricing policies, tax returns, and other related reports.
  • Lead the claim of tax incentives and ensure that all significant incentives are claimed.
  • Conduct tax research and prepare memoranda in support of adopted tax positions.
  • Manage the relationship with external auditors and oversee corporate tax audits.
  • Develop and manage the annual tax projections (budget process) for the Group.
  • Manage relationships with external tax advisors.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 10 years of tax experience in a Big 4 and/or multinational corporation.
  • Master's degree in taxation or completed CICA's In-Depth Tax Course.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
