  • Job Summary
  • Allwood Carpentry Manufacturing is seeking a skilled cabinetmaker to join our team of woodworking professionals.
  • This role is responsible for operating various woodworking machines, preparing custom cabinet specifications, and shaping woodworkpieces.
  • The ideal candidate will have 2 years of experience in a custom cabinet shop or millwork environment.
  • Key Responsibilities
    • Operate power saws, jointers, mortisers, and shapers to cut, shape, and form parts and components.
    • Prepare custom cabinet specifications to maximize storage.
    • Shape woodworkpieces using hand tools or machines.
    • Study plans, specifications, or drawings to understand article requirements.
    • Trim joints and fit parts together to form a complete unit.
    • Sand wooden surfaces and apply veneer, stain, or polish to finished products.
    • Apply varnish, veneer, stain, or polish to finished products.
    • Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
    • Supervise other workers in the workshop.
  • Work Environment
  • This role is a fast-paced environment requiring attention to detail and the ability to work with precision.
  • The ideal candidate will be able to stand for extended periods and work in a team setting.
  • Required Tools and Equipment
  • Steel-toed safety boots are required for this role.
