Job Summary

The Clinical Supervisor is a key member of the Addiction and Mental Health Adult Outreach team, responsible for providing clinical supervision to staff, promoting best practices, and ensuring high standards of service delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical supervision to staff, including observation of clinical sessions, review of clinical documentation, and provision of guidance and direction.
  • Participate in program development and evaluation, identifying process gaps and risk management issues.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team, psychiatrists, and community partners to ensure effective professional and collaborative practice.
  • Contribute to the planning, implementation, and evaluation of mental health treatment services.
  • Identify and address gaps in clinical practice, as well as facilitate addressing of system-level gaps and risk management issues.
Requirements
  • Diploma or bachelor's degree in nursing with related master's degree, including training in mental health assessment and provision of psychotherapy.
  • Authorization to do restricted psycho-social intervention.
  • Minimum of 2 years of supervisory or advanced-level experience.
  • Knowledge of Addiction & Mental Health Programs and community and crisis resources.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to form strong working relationships with community stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
  • BLS certification.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Naloxone administration training.
