Part-Time Support Worker Opportunity in Downtown Toronto

Job Summary: We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Part-Time Support Worker to join our team at Carrie. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who values flexibility and enjoys working with individuals in their own home.
About the Role: As a Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing personalized support to our client, assisting with daily living tasks, transfers, personal care, and meal preparation. You will work independently, using your initiative and judgment to ensure the best possible outcomes for our client.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide support with transfers, personal care, and simple meal preparation
- Assist with cat care and household duties as needed
- Work collaboratively with our client and other support staff to achieve goals and maintain a safe and healthy environment
Requirements: To be successful in this role, you will need to be punctual, reliable, and have excellent communication skills. You must also be able to lift 25 pounds or less and have a valid Social Insurance Number.
Compensation and Benefits: As a valued member of our team, you can expect to earn $29.00 per hour, plus 4% vacation pay and a small travel allowance. Pay is bi-weekly, and funding is provided through the Direct Funding Program. You will also receive training and support to help you excel in your role.
