Job Summary

We are seeking a Retail Territory Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for sales and implementing business plans to promote growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sales and Business Development: Responsible for sales, market share, and business support of Agriscience products to our retailer customers.
  • Growth Strategy: Responsible for driving growth and profitability within the customer's overall business.
  • Promoting Innovation: As part of the Agriscience Sales Team, promote new technologies and future crop protection and seed pipeline through selected retail business partners.
  • Building Strong Relationships: Establish sound business relationships by consistently delivering professional, quality service.
  • Achieving Sales Targets: Responsible for achieving sales targets and effectively managing budgets and resources.
  • Developing Business Strategies: Work with selected retails to develop business plans that support the overall growth of the retail business.
  • Product Development: Assist in the development, communication, and implementation of retail programs.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Be alert to regulatory and environmental issues and provide proper attention to product stewardship.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent, in Agronomy, Business, or Marketing required.
  • Three to five (3-5) years sales experience, managing and/or coaching individuals.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and professional approach to building customer relationships.
  • Strong value selling, planning, strategy, and negotiation skills required.
  • Ability to analyze sales and market share data to identify market opportunities and identify potential solutions.
  • Understanding of basic business planning and financial skills.
  • Strong planning, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Computer skills including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
