Unit Clerk, Oncology Clinic

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Unit Clerk to join our Oncology Clinic team. As a Unit Clerk, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our clinic, providing exceptional patient care, and supporting our healthcare team.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate patient appointments, diagnostic tests, and procedures, ensuring timely and efficient scheduling.
- Process clinician orders, prepare requisitions, and communicate with patients and healthcare teams.
- Organize and maintain accurate patient records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with regulations.
- Provide exceptional customer service, responding to patient inquiries, and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless communication and coordination of patient care.
- Grade 12, medical terminology, and graduation from a recognized Nursing Unit Clerk Program, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Physical ability to perform the duties of the position, including standing, walking, and lifting.
- Proficiency in computer software applications, including electronic health records systems.
