Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeping Room Attendant to join our team at JnB Homecare Services Ltd. As a Housekeeping Room Attendant, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our residential care facilities. This is a permanent position with a 35 to 40 hour workweek.

Responsibilities
  • Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors
  • Dust furniture and fixtures
  • Vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture
  • Make beds and change sheets
  • Distribute clean towels and toiletries
  • Stock linen closets
  • Clean and disinfect kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances
  • Disinfect operating rooms and other areas
  • Handle and report lost and found items
  • Attend to guests' requests for extra supplies or other items
  • Launder clothing and household linens
  • Mend clothing and linens
  • Clean changing rooms and showers
Requirements
  • Housekeeping room attendant certification
  • Ability to work independently
  • Repetitive tasks
  • Physically demanding
  • Bending, crouching, kneeling
  • Combination of sitting, standing, walking
  • Standing for extended periods
  • Up to 9 kg (20 lbs)
