Job Overview

We're seeking a skilled Cashier to join our team at Aramark. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, processing transactions accurately, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate a register/POS system and handle cash and credit card transactions with precision and speed.
  • Greet and assist customers, anticipating their needs and providing a positive experience.
  • Count, organize, and balance the cash drawer, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Adhere to Aramark's cash handling policies and procedures, maintaining a high level of integrity and professionalism.
  • Stay knowledgeable about merchandise for sale, assisting customers and processing transactions efficiently.
  • Complete opening and closing procedures as assigned, ensuring a smooth operation.
  • Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment, adhering to safety policies and procedures.
  • Restock merchandise as needed, ensuring an optimal shopping experience.
Requirements
  • Previous customer service experience is preferred, but not required.
  • Basic math and counting skills are essential for this role.
  • Ability to work independently with limited supervision is necessary.
  • Food Handler and Alcohol Service trainings may be required, depending on the location.
