Key Responsibilities:
  • Assign sales workers to duties and ensure that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to provide excellent customer service.
  • Hire and train new staff members, or arrange for their training, to ensure that they are equipped to handle the demands of the role.
  • Authorize payments by cheque and ensure that all financial transactions are accurate and up-to-date.
  • Order merchandise and manage our inventory levels to ensure that we have the right products in stock at the right time.
  • Authorize returns of merchandise and ensure that all returns are processed efficiently and effectively.
  • Establish work schedules and ensure that our staff are working efficiently and effectively.
  • Sell merchandise and provide excellent customer service to our customers.
  • Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters to help inform our business decisions.
  • Resolve issues that may arise, including customer complaints and supply shortages.
  • Organize and maintain inventory and ensure that our store is always well-stocked and looking its best.
  • Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of our staff and ensure that they are working efficiently and effectively.
  • Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback to our staff to help them improve their performance.
Requirements:
  • 3-4 years of experience in a retail management role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively manage our staff and provide excellent customer service.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills to prioritize tasks and manage our workload effectively.
  • Ability to multitask and handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills to resolve issues and find solutions to complex problems.
