Woodworking Specialist

Bawa Construction Inc. is seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team. As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for constructing, repairing, and maintaining structures made of wood, wood substitutes, and other materials.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare layouts and designs in accordance with building codes and regulations.
- Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials to create structures.
- Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems.
- Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware.
- Survey building locations and levels to ensure accuracy.
- Supervise and coordinate the work of other workers.
- Estimate costs and materials for projects.
- Maintain, repair, and renovate residential and commercial structures.
The Carpenter will work in a fast-paced construction environment, often outdoors, and may be required to work at heights or in confined spaces.
Requirements:- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in carpentry or a related field.
- Excellent physical stamina and ability to lift heavy loads.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
