Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Hotel Front Desk Clerk to join our team at Travelodge Lethbridge. As a key member of our front desk team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest service, managing room assignments, and ensuring a smooth check-in and check-out process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Guest Registration: Register arriving guests, assign rooms, and ensure accurate room assignments.
  • Front Desk Operations: Process group arrivals and departures, take, cancel, and change room reservations, and provide information on hotel facilities and services.
  • Customer Service: Provide general information about points of interest in the area, process guests' departures, calculate charges, and receive payments.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain an inventory of vacancies, reservations, and room assignments.
  • Emergency Procedures: Follow emergency and safety procedures, and perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties as needed.
  • Clerical Duties: Perform various clerical tasks, including faxing, filing, and photocopying.
  • Communication: Answer telephone calls, relay messages, and assist clients/guests with special needs.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field, or equivalent experience.
Work Environment

This is a permanent, full-time position working 40 hours per week. The work language is English.
