Android Software Engineer

What you'll do

  • Develop high-performance Android applications with a focus on efficiency, reliability, and user experience.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features and products.
  • Ensure the quality and responsiveness of applications by conducting thorough testing and troubleshooting.

What you'll need to get the job done

  • Proficient in developing Android apps with a proven track record and a strong portfolio.
  • Strong programming skills in C++, Kotlin, or Java, with a focus on software development and architecture.
  • Experience with version control using Git (GitHub) and continuous integration tools like Jenkins.
  • In-depth understanding of Android AOSP (Android Open Source Project) and its ecosystem.
  • Prior experience developing HMI (Human-Machine Interface) software for infotainment or mobile platforms.
  • Familiarity with Agile development processes for efficient project management and collaboration.
  • Experience in building and contributing to the AOSP project, with a focus on open-source software development.
  • Knowledge of software development on embedded QNX OS or Android-based platforms.
  • Proficiency in unit testing and mock frameworks to ensure code quality and reliability.
  • Ability to develop distributed software based on SOA (Service-Oriented Architecture) designs for communication efficiency and scalability.
