We are seeking a skilled Android Software Engineer to join our team at Syntronic, a leading global engineering design house specializing in the design and development of embedded software/hardware, electronics, and electro-mechanics.

About the Role

As an Android Software Engineer, you will be responsible for developing high-quality Android applications with a focus on efficiency, reliability, and performance. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features, ensuring the quality and responsiveness of applications through thorough testing and troubleshooting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop Android applications using C++, Kotlin, or Java
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and design new features
  • Conduct thorough testing and troubleshooting to ensure application quality
  • Work with Agile development processes for efficient project management
  • Develop distributed software based on SOA designs for communication efficiency
Requirements
  • Proficient in developing Android apps with a proven track record
  • Strong programming skills in C++, Kotlin, or Java
  • Experience with version control using Git (GitHub) and continuous integration tools like Jenkins
  • In-depth understanding of Android AOSP (Android Open Source Project)
  • Prior experience developing HMI (Human-Machine Interface) software for infotainment or mobile platforms
