About the RoleWe are looking for a dedicated and compassionate individual to implement exercise and education programs for seniors, focusing on increasing mobility, pain relief, and improving balance. The successful candidate will provide a consistent approach to prevent falls, reduce injuries, and improve awareness of safety within the participant's daily activities.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement exercise programs tailored to seniors' needs
- Monitor residents while utilizing exercise equipment and promote safe use
- Prepare and maintain progress reports and basic metrics on participants
- Support and participate in the development and implementation of programs and objectives
- Accurately collect data for reporting
- Degree in Kinesiology or diploma in PTA/OTA
- First Aid (CPR & AED) Certification
- Experience with seniors and group programming is an asset
- Reliable vehicle
- Mandatory requirement: fully vaccinated against COVID-19
