Island Health is seeking a Family Practitioner to join our team at the Downtown Victoria Urgent and Primary Care Centre (DVUPCC). As a Family Practitioner, you will be part of a collaborative team providing integrated team-based care to patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide primary care services to patients, including routine check-ups, health maintenance, and management of acute and chronic conditions
- Participate in an after-hours call group, sharing after-hours coverage with other primary care providers
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients
Requirements:
- Eligible for full licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of British Columbia (CPSBC)
- Family Medicine Certification of the College of Family Physicians (or equivalent)
- Experience in primary care and urgent care services
About the DVUPCC:
