Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Okanagan TH Holdings Ltd. As a key member of our food service team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our cafeteria, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and high-quality food.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Coordinate Staff: Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Train and Develop Staff: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, as well as provide ongoing coaching and feedback to ensure that staff are meeting performance expectations.
  • Manage Food and Service Quality: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, and take corrective action when necessary to maintain high standards.
  • Prepare Budgets and Reports: Prepare budget and cost estimates, as well as maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
  • Address Customer Concerns: Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring that all issues are resolved promptly and to the customer's satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service environment.
  • Work Environment: Noisy, odours, wet/damp, hot.
  • Work Setting: Cafeteria, food service establishment, coffee shop, on-site customer service, fast food outlet or concession.
  • Physical Demands: Combination of sitting, standing, walking, standing for extended periods, bending, crouching, kneeling, walking, physically demanding.
  • Personal Suitability: Client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, flexibility, team player, initiative.
