About the Opportunity:
Alberta Health Services is seeking a highly organized and effective Onboarding Coordinator to join our South Zone's Nutrition, Food, Linen, and Environmental Services (NFLES) team. As an Onboarding Coordinator, you will play a critical role in ensuring a consistent approach to hiring and onboarding for new staff within the South Zone.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor vacancies and associated HR dashboards within the Zone to support effective workforce planning and recruitment strategies.
- Develop and implement recruitment strategies and interview guides/tools to attract top talent.
- Coordinate interviews with candidates, communicate with leaders and candidates, and track candidate progress using recruiting software.
- Onboard and train new hires, connecting them to the programs and information that matter most.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, including managers, supervisors, human resources, and talent advisors, to build and maintain strong working relationships.
Requirements:
- Post-secondary degree or diploma in business administration, human resources, health care profession, healthcare management, or related field.
- Equivalent skills and experience will be considered.
Preferred Qualifications:
As required.
