About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Retail Store Supervisor to join our team at Esso. As a Retail Store Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our retail store, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our store runs smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Management
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of sales staff, ensuring that they are meeting their sales targets and providing excellent customer service.
    • Recruit, train, and develop sales staff to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in their roles.
  • Store Operations
    • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the store, including managing inventory, processing transactions, and maintaining a clean and safe store environment.
    • Ensure that all store policies and procedures are followed, and that our customers receive a positive and welcoming experience.
  • Customer Service
    • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving any issues that may arise.
    • Work with customers to understand their needs and preferences, and to provide personalized solutions to meet their needs.
  • Reporting and Analysis
    • Prepare and submit regular reports on sales performance, customer feedback, and other key metrics.
    • Analyze data and trends to identify opportunities for improvement and to inform business decisions.
Requirements
  • Education
    • No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this role.
  • Experience
    • At least 1 year of experience in a retail or customer-facing role.
  • Skills
    • Excellent leadership and management skills.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to prioritize tasks effectively.
    • Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and operating a point-of-sale system.
Work Environment

This is a permanent, full-time role with a 35-hour workweek. The work environment is fast-paced and dynamic, with a focus on providing exceptional customer service and ensuring that our store runs smoothly and efficiently.

Language

The primary language of this role is English.
