About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Automotive Technician to join our team at Midas Thunder Bay 9198. As a key member of our service team, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on customer vehicles.

Responsibilities
  • Diagnostics and Repairs: Utilize state-of-the-art computer systems to diagnose and repair complex issues in customer vehicles.
  • Tire and Brake Services: Perform tire repairs, rotations, and replacements, as well as brake repairs and replacements.
  • Car Maintenance: Conduct routine maintenance tasks, including oil services, checks for the check engine light, and other services.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: Hold a valid and current Certificate of Qualification in the province of Ontario.
  • Experience: Possess extensive experience in automotive repair and maintenance, with a focus on diagnostics and repairs.
  • Skills: Be proficient in the use of shop equipment, including lifts, tire changing equipment, alignment machines, and diagnostic tools.
