Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Plastics Machine Operator to join our team at Recyclage Hana Inc. as a Recycling Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining plastic processing equipment, ensuring high-quality production and efficient processing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Troubleshooting and Maintenance: Identify and resolve equipment issues, perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure optimal machine performance.
  • Quality Control: Monitor and inspect the quality of plastic materials produced, ensuring they meet our high standards.
  • Material Handling: Safely handle and place weighed materials in mixing machines, unload mixture into containers or conveyors for further processing.
  • Equipment Operation: Set up and operate extruding machines to extrude plastic compounds through nozzles or dies, utilizing computer numerical control (CNC) machines as needed.
  • Work Environment: Work in a fast-paced production environment, performing repetitive tasks, handling heavy loads, and maintaining a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Language: Fluency in English or French.
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
