Store Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Store Manager to join our team at Shelby Inc.
Job Summary:The Store Manager will be responsible for the overall management of our retail store, including daily operations, staff supervision, and customer service.
Key Responsibilities:- Leadership and Management: Direct and control daily operations, evaluate daily operations, plan and organize daily operations, manage staff and assign duties.
- Marketing and Sales: Study market research and trends to determine consumer demand, potential sales volumes and effect of competitors' operations on sales, determine merchandise and services to be sold, implement price and credits policies, locate, select and procure merchandise for resale, develop and implement marketing strategies.
- Financial Management: Plan budgets and monitor revenues and expenses, resolve issues that may arise, including customer requests, complaints and supply shortages.
- Human Resources: Recruit, hire and supervise staff and/or volunteers, oversee payroll administration, conduct performance reviews, supervise office and volunteer staff.
- Education: Bachelor's degree
- Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years or equivalent experience
- Work Setting: Gas bar, retail business
30 hours per week, permanent position, English language, free parking available, learning/training paid by employer, subsidised public transportation.
Support for Newcomers and Refugees:Assists with immediate settlement needs of newcomers and/or refugees.
Support for Indigenous People:Provides cultural competency training and/or awareness training to all employees.
