Job Title: Technical Product Owner

The Technical Product Owner is a key role in our organization, responsible for bridging the gap between business users and technologists. This position requires a unique blend of technical and business acumen, with a focus on driving business value through effective product ownership.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to elicit and prioritize business requirements.
  • Develop and maintain the product backlog, ensuring it is aligned with business objectives.
  • Work closely with technology teams to ensure successful implementation and delivery of product features.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
  • Conduct research and analysis to inform product decisions, and develop requirements documents to support implementation.
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders, including front office, quantitative stakeholders, and technology teams.
Requirements:
  • 6-10 years of experience in a financial services firm, with a focus on product ownership, business analysis, or project management.
  • Strong technical skills, including experience with various technologies, such as Python, MongoDB, Java, and cloud-based services.
  • Experience working in Agile environments and building/coaching Agile teams.
  • Engineering, finance, or mathematics background preferred.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with experience coordinating with technology teams.
Education:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
  • Master's degree preferred.
