Clinical Development Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Clinical Development Specialist to join our team at Alberta Health Services.
About the Role:
- This position plays a key role in providing safe, quality patient and family centered care while reflecting the shared vision and values of AHS.
- You will collaborate with management and internal partners to promote standards of clinical, educational and evidence-informed practice.
Responsibilities:
- Take a leadership role in planning, coordinating, implementing and evaluating education for nursing staff including orientation, compulsory and continuing education, and clinical development.
- Provide expert guidance and support to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care.
Requirements:
- Completion of an accredited nursing education program.
- Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CRNA).
- Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP) certification.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in Correctional Health.
- Experience in leadership and change management.
- Experience leading and/or participating in clinical simulations.
- ITLS/DTR certification.
What We Offer:
- An estimated salary range of $83,500 - $113,300 per year.
