About the Role
A senior management position has become available at EECOL Electric, leading our B2B small-scale retail locations. As Branch Manager, you will oversee daily operations, staff management, financial management, merchandising, and customer service. This integrated leadership role requires strong communication skills, strategic planning, and the ability to drive sales growth.
Responsibilities
• Drive customer service excellence in all aspects of the branch, including showroom appearance, merchandise display, product placement, and store layout.
• Ensure strategic goals and sales targets are met by optimizing sales and gross profit, reviewing sales performance, controlling expenses, and managing inventory investment.
• Supervise and develop a small team of non-management employees, providing feedback, coaching, and performance evaluations.
• Coordinate staffing schedules and conduct weekly staff meetings to ensure smooth branch operations.
• Maintain a safe working environment, adhering to safety policies and local health regulations.
• Foster relationships with top accounts, identifying current and future customer requirements, and developing strategies to expand walk-in traffic and optimize profitability.
Requirements
• High School Degree or Equivalent required.
• Prior professional sales experience in a related industry or 3+ years.
• Experience managing a team of 1-3 years.
• Strong business and management principles, including strategic planning, resource allocation, and personnel management.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, analytical, persuasion, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to exercise teamwork, leadership, and flexibility, with excellent time management and computer skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 25%.
