About the Role:

mdf commerce Inc is seeking a skilled Delphi Developer to join our team at Carrus. As a key member of our international team, you will collaborate with peers and product managers to deliver value to customers.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with peers and product managers to deliver value to customers.
  • Propose innovative solutions to meet business needs.
  • Participate in the design, development, and deployment of micro-services, API, and web applications.
  • Develop solutions using programming languages and modern cloud concepts.
  • Write automated tests and write infrastructure as code.
  • Participate in debugging and problem-solving.
  • Design and implement user interfaces for web applications.
  • Build and deliver quality commercial enterprise software in the Microsoft Azure cloud.
  • Perform initial analysis, architecture, development, and testing.
  • Understand customer needs and build appropriate technical solutions.
  • Be a key participant in product planning, reviews, and backlog maintenance.
  • Review and challenge product requirements to help the team develop optimal solutions.
  • Contribute to ongoing efforts to improve the development process and further automate development and test operations.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or college diploma in software development or other relevant program.
  • 5 years' work experience in a similar position.
  • Mastery of the Delphi language.
  • Knowledge of unit testing, processes, and best practices.
  • Ability to work in an environment undergoing Agile/Scrum/DevOps transformation.
  • Good knowledge of development processes, tools, and methodology.
  • Dynamic, energetic, and solution-oriented.
  • Strong interest in developing technical knowledge and expertise.
  • Good communication skills, good listening skills, customer-oriented.
  • Excellent English and French language skills, both oral and written, due to frequent interactions with English and French speaking internal and external colleagues and partners across Canada (and elsewhere if applicable).

Desirable Assets:

  • Experience with relational databases.
  • Experience with ERP systems.
  • Knowledge of one or more WEB programming languages—Java with Spring, JavaScript (NodeJS), CSS, HTML, TypeScript, SQL, React, etc.
